InsideOut “Serve”

The word “Serve” is the focus for InsideOut College. We believe serving the CSU community will allow us to build relationships with students, staff, and faculty at CSU. We also believe the Christian life should be a life of selfless service. Jesus came to earth to pay the ultimate sacrifice. He gave His life. Jesus is the ultimate servant.

Be Transformed from the insideout.

At insideout church we believe faith starts on the inside, and what you believe is simply displayed on the outside.

Romans 12:1-2, explains this truth for us in the following way:

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. ² Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

This passage clearly communicates the purpose of a life that abides in Christ. At insideout church we desire to be a people who daily die to self and live as a sacrifice for Jesus.  The problem with a living sacrifice, is that it tends to crawl off the alter. Many of us who desire to live for Jesus often find ourselves crawling off the altar on a regular basis.

Praise God, that He does not ask us to do something without also instructing us on the how to accomplish it. These verses give us insight into how we can successfully live our lives as a sacrifice. We must start out by understanding that God’s mercy is what allows us to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, and through Him a relationship with the Father.   Secondly, we are instructed to stop conforming to the pattern of this world and to allow our minds to be transformed by the renewing/cleansing that Jesus brings to His people. Many of us tend to let the “worries of the world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things” sneak in and choke us out (Mark 4:19). When we allow our minds to dwell on earthly things that pass away, we quickly crawl off the altar and begin to live for those things.

Renewing our minds allows us to be transformed from the insideout, and therefore; offer our bodies as a living sacrifice.

The InsideOut College Site

Welcome to the InsideOut College site.

The college ministry of insideout church serves both Colorado State University as well as Front Range Community College.

insideout is a church that loves people and is passionate about everyone having the opportunity to encounter the real Jesus. Because we believe faith begins on the inside then permeates the outside, we have developed different relaxed venues where anyone can explore truth.

The college ministry hosts Explore venues where you can have an honest discussion about God, Life Groups where you can be encouraged, and The Gathering where we experience God in a creative setting. We hope you choose to join us for one of these venues.

Gathering – Sundays 6pm-7pm @ the Garage. The Garage is located @ 619 W Lake Street, Fort Collins, CO 80521

Life Groups – We are currently meeting @ the Garage on Thursday nights @ 7pm. We are studying the early church! As we grow, we will continue to multiply Life Groups.  If you are interested in starting a life group in your dorm, neighborhood, or area, contact Josh.

Explore Groups – We will be kicking off our Explore groups in the fall of 2011. Dinner will be provided.
